TY-GARD Cargo Restraint
TY-GARD's flexible restraint system design prevents load shift by adsorbing and dissipating the energy of transportation forces without incurring damage to packaging equipment. TY-GARD- 2000 has been impact tested and approved by the AAR(Association of American Railroads) and recommend it for the shipment of Hazardous materials shipments.
The goal of a securement system is to prevent load shift, damage, product release incidents and safety hazards on board a vessel, train or truck trailer. International Maritine Dangerous Goods Code(IMDG) requires cargo to be secured against movement.
TY-GARD is a 405mm wide laminated flexible band with a high strength pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive offering high shear strength on containers wall yet peels and remove easily and leaves no surface residue. TY-GARD 2000 can be applied to drums, flexible bags, palletised products and paper rolaa. It exhibits excellent adhesion throughout a wide range of temperatures.
